Awards and Scholarships

Our union offers many opportunities for exceptional educators, school staff, and community members to be recognized and rewarded for their hard work and dedication.

The NEA-NM Hall of Fame

The NEA-NM Hall of Fame is a prestigious award presented to NEA-NM members who have been retired for a minimum of 2 years and who have served and worked for the good of the organization and public education in New Mexico. A special Hall of Fame Reception is held preceding the Annual Delegate Council.

The Keleher & Mcleod Scholarship

Presented annually to an NEA-NM member or members who will be taking classes (on-line or on campus) at the University of New Mexico.
